Eric Gibby built Gibby's Auto Pros in Sevierville, Tennessee as a family business. That dealership chapter is now closed, and GT Consulting is the current business. The consulting work is built from the same independent dealer lessons: buying cars, protecting cash, handling floor plan pressure, keeping deal files cleaner and making the next move when the store is tight.
In 2023, the Tennessee Independent Automobile Dealers Association named Eric Tennessee Quality Dealer of the Year. The award matters, but the point of GT Consulting is practical: help dealers see the numbers, fix the leak and do the boring work before the bill shows up.
The Auto Dealer's Playbook grew out of that same plain dealer language.
