Eric Gibby
Eric Gibby built Gibby's Auto Pros in Sevierville, Tennessee with his family. That dealership chapter is now closed. GT Consulting is the current business, built to bring that independent dealer experience to dealers who need a clearer look at the store.

Eric started around the car business as a kid, tagging along with his dad at auctions. That is where he learned to look past shiny paint and see the real car: miles, frame, title, transport, recon, holding cost, floor plan age, buyer demand and payment fit.
At Gibby's Auto Pros, the work was practical because it had to be: payments, funding, titles, floor plans, recon, customer problems and family pressure all show up in the same week.
After the dealership chapter closed, Eric shifted the work toward consulting, training and The Auto Dealer's Playbook. The point is not to make the past look active. The point is to use what the lot taught him to help other dealers think cleaner.
In 2023, Eric was named Tennessee Quality Dealer of the Year by the Tennessee Independent Automobile Dealers Association. He is thankful for it, but his plain view is still the same: awards do not make payroll, fix a bad buy or make a customer pay.
GT Consulting exists because a lot of dealers are not lazy. They are working too many hours and making decisions too fast. Eric helps them slow down, see the numbers and make cleaner moves.
